In Person Therapy
East Coast Mental Wellness offers individual therapy for clients of all ages. Our therapists are specialized in a wide range of therapeutic techniques. We believe that one type of therapy isn’t always the best type for every client. As a client at East Coast Mental Wellness, you get to choose the therapist you think will best meet your needs. We even offer a free 15-minute consultation call to new referrals. We offer this so you can get a sense of your therapist’s personality and the techniques they use before deciding if you want to schedule an initial session with them.
Online therapy / Telehealth
People sometimes have a difficult time carving time out of their day to take care of themselves or see a therapist. Or, they might be in the habit of traveling a lot but still wish to see a therapist regularly. East Coast Mental Wellness is one of the few therapy agencies that conduct online therapy in a safe and secure environment. Through online therapy, we can accommodate your busy schedule. East Coast Mental Wellness offers online therapy through the use of an easy-to-use HIPAA compliant platform. Many insurance companies are now covering Telehealth services.
Groups
East Coast Mental Wellness offers group services on a variety of topics, including self-care, mindfulness, relationships, and more.

East Coast Mental Wellness Couples Work program. We are excited to introduce our transformative 6-month program, specifically designed for couples who are facing challenges and seeking to deepen their bond. Join us to strengthen your connection and build a healthier, more fulfilling relationship.
EMDR for Anxiety
EMDR is a comprehensive, evidence-based therapeutic approach designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories and experiences. Originally developed to treat post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), EMDR has been proven highly effective in addressing a wide range of anxiety disorders. This includes generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), social anxiety, panic attacks, and phobias.
Immigration Services
Political Asylum letters are written upon a thorough evaluation, for individuals with the need to secure a safe environment where they can reside. As defined by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (2018), protection may be granted if an individual is in fear of being discriminated upon based on their race, religion, nationality, social group, and political views. At East Coast Mental Wellness, we can provide an in-depth assessment and immigration evaluation of the individual’s fear and needs. There is a Spanish-speaking clinician who may help individuals with this process.
LGBTQ Services
We understand the particular needs of the community, so we try to keep these in mind with each expansion or the introduction of a new program that we add to our agency. We train our clinicians and administration on the importance of proper use of pronouns and preferred names. We are sure to keep confidentiality around all aspects of personal information especially with respect to insurance, which can be especially important when dealing with plans that concern government and military positions. We offer gender-affirming care to all our clients.
Life Coaching
Sometimes you don’t need therapy, you just need someone to help you get unstuck and hold you accountable for the change yo want to make in your life. We offer coaching services (not covered by health insurance) for clients that just need a little push in the right direction.
