My name is Alicia Corbo. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHC-A) in Rhode Island. I received my Master of Arts degree in Psychology from Rhode Island College where I went onto receive a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Mental Health Counseling.

As a therapist, it is my privilege to assist people who are struggling with transitions in their lives, are experiencing challenges, or are coping with a mental illness. I work with individuals of all ages with a wide range of psychological concerns. I have extensive experience working with teens and young adults struggling with anxiety and challenges associated with the transition into young adulthood.

My approach with clients is primarily psychodynamic based in combination with evidence based treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,  Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Play Therapy techniques, Acceptance & Commitment, and Mindfulness-Based Interventions.

I view psychotherapy as a collaborative process that is unique to each person. I provide a warm, friendly approach in helping individuals develop a deeper understanding of themselves, explore ways of healing, and find solutions to problems that are holding them back
