Lisa Slawsby is a passionate and intuitive mental health therapist and volunteer who has dedicated her career to supporting children and families in crisis. A graduate of the Clinical Mental Health and Counseling Master’s Program, focusing on Health and Behavior Medicine at William James College, Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice.

In addition to her formal education, Lisa holds a post-masters certification in Equine-Assisted Mental Health from the University of Denver, reflecting her unique expertise in understanding and interpreting animal behaviors. Her approach often incorporates this specialized knowledge, creating a therapeutic environment that can be particularly effective for her clients.

Outside of her professional life, Lisa is a devoted animal lover. As a beekeeper and horseback rider, she cherishes her relationships with her four-legged friends and finds joy in their company. Lisa is also an avid runner who loves pushing her boundaries, having completed both the Amsterdam and Detroit marathons.

Through her empathic nature and unwavering commitment to helping others, Lisa is an inspiring force of kindness and support.
