Caitlin is a licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with individuals of all ages, specializing in helping people facing life changes, crises, and trauma. Her non-judgmental and empathic approach is firmly rooted in the stages of change, and she believes that clients, not therapists, lead the work in therapy.

She holds the conviction that every individual has inherent worth and deserves a life rich with love and peace. Caitlin collaborates with her clients to cultivate a garden of peace and love within themselves, providing a refuge wherever they go. To achieve this, she employs various trauma-informed and mindful techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Theory, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Caitlin is a graduate of Boston University and boasts over 7 years of experience in various settings, primarily working with adolescents in crisis and individuals experiencing homelessness. In addition to providing therapy through East Coast Mental Wellness, she serves as a school social worker and is a dedicated mom to her young son.

Having personally struggled with anxiety throughout her life, Caitlin specializes in working with clients dealing with the challenges of the ‘monkey mind.’ Given her experience supporting clients in group homes, homeless shelters, hospitals, and schools, she also focuses on helping those dealing with issues such as suicidal ideation, self-injurious behaviors, domestic violence, aggression, sexual abuse, and substance use disorders.

She firmly believes that even in the most difficult and painful situations, strength and insight about oneself can be found. Caitlin looks forward to being a companion as you navigate your unique path in life.
